JoinUp

This platform was developed to address the challenge of finding meaningful collaboration opportunities outside of traditional classrooms or job boards. Many existing platforms focus heavily on hiring or lack the structure needed to support project-based collaboration.

JoinUp was built using a structured Agile workflow, with features broken down into epics and user stories tracked in Jira. Design and development progressed iteratively, allowing usability feedback and testing insights to directly inform product decisions. Wireframes and UI designs were created in Figma to prioritize clarity, accessibility, and ease of use for first-time users.

From planning through deployment, JoinUp balanced scope control with long-term vision. A stable MVP was delivered within the project timeline, while post-MVP enhancements were documented to support future growth. The final product was successfully deployed and presented as a live, functional platform.
