Redesign

For Maggie Murray’s Pub House, a local bar, I redesigned and developed a website to improve usability, mobile experience, and online discoverability.

Maggie Murray’s needed a website that clearly communicated essential information (such as hours, location, events, and offerings) while remaining easy to navigate on mobile devices. The previous experience lacked structure, making it difficult for users to quickly find what they needed.

The redesign focused on simplifying navigation, improving content hierarchy, and optimizing the site for mobile first usage. As a result, the site generated 360+ sessions and 280+ unique visitors in the first month post-launch, with 73% of traffic coming from mobile devices, validating the mobile-first design approach.

Following launch, the site maintained a healthy 45% bounce rate and an average session duration of over one minute, indicating users were successfully finding and engaging with key content. The redesign provided Maggie Murray’s with a clearer, more effective digital presence that supports customer discovery and day-to-day use.
